adesso has entered into a partnership with INTAS.tech. INTAS.tech is a management consultancy specializing in the integration and management of digital assets for financial services, combining adesso’s expertise in technology and the financial industry with the in-depth knowledge of securities and blockchain specialists.
Both companies combine their specific knowledge of the capital market and their expertise in blockchain (INTAS.tech) with adesso’s technological know-how and industry-proven implementation of complex IT projects. For almost 25 years, adesso has been advising renowned banks in the field of digital transformation, at the interface between technological progress and regulation.
INTAS.tech is the result of a merger between Plutoneo Consulting, a strategy consultancy for the financial and asset management industry focusing on the securities business and its processes, and the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. The Frankfurt School Blockchain Centre specialists are researching the technologies and application areas and the centre itself is Europe’s leading research centre and academic institution in the blockchain field.
Together, adesso and INTAS.tech will provide securities trading banks and financial service providers with comprehensive consulting and implementation expertise around the topic of digital assets – i.e. digitally managed assets, cryptocurrency transactions and securities trading (keyword: security tokens).
Stephan Mecking, Head of Banking at adesso: “Digital ledger-based infrastructures for digital assets enable financial service providers to offer their customers new and innovative services with a variety of technical applications to choose from. Through the cooperation with INTAS.tech, adesso will be able to offer comprehensive solution approaches from the initial idea to implementation in the future. In doing so, we can draw on our experience in the blockchain sector, such as in the realization of FinLedger, the promissory note platform implemented by the consortium of DekaBank, dwpbank, DZ Bank and Helaba with the support of adesso.
Volker Braunberger is Managing Director of INTAS.tech and a long-standing consultant in the field of asset management. The experienced consultant welcomes the cooperation against the background of current legislation: “The new legislation around electronic securities (eWpG) as well as the Fund Location Act [Fondsstandortgesetz] have established blockchain technology as the core infrastructure of future financial markets and pave the way for the establishment of digital assets as a legitimate asset class for institutional investors through regulations. This requires new know-how and new technological infrastructures across the industry. With adesso, we have gained a strong partner to support us in the implementation of blockchain-based projects in the field of digital asset management, who brings not only technological expertise but also a deep understanding of the requirements of the financial sector.”
